Alessandro Taverna, one of our most popular visitors over recent years, makes the journey from Venice to be with us again. He is a sparkling talent as regular concert-goers know and will bring his brilliant technique to this most memorable of concertos.
Sibelius: Symphony No.7
Prokofiev: Piano Concerto No.3
Dvorak: Symphony No.5
Two Twentieth Century classics in the short single movement Symphony No 7 by Sibelius and the brilliant Third Piano Concerto by Prokofiev precede one of the most tuneful symphonies by Dvorak, his 5th.
