Imola Summer Music Academy & Festival: Masterclass

The event, now in its thirteenth edition, organised in collaboration with the Municipality of Imola and with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Emilia Romagna Region and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Imola, proposes its dual soul of ‘Academy’ and ‘Festival’, capable of combining the highest level of musical training with the production of live concerts. The masterclasses will be animated by the Maestri of the Foundation’s Academies. Guest Professors include Dirk Mommertz, Clara Blavet and Paolo Taballione.

A rich programme of concerts will enliven the Festival, featuring the Professors of Imola together with up-and-coming young musicians, in a collaboration that projects the new generations into the qualified scenario of national and international concerts. The program is still being defined and will soon be published.

The Imola-China project, born in 2012 and curated by artistic director Jin Ju, will continue this year, bringing to Imola young pianists selected from the best schools and conservatories of China.
